Apprentice Electrician 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job description

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a First Year Apprentice Electrician. As an apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to learn the trade and gain practical experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth in the electrical industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Learn how to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand electrical layouts and specifications.
• Learn to identify electrical problems and troubleshoot issues using testing devices and diagnostic tools.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Attend off the job training phases to further your knowledge and skills in electrical work.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organised manner.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
